The Rev 1.5 SUL (super ulta light) is crafted for zero to light wind flying. Attention to weight saving and extended Stainless Steel control handles gives excellent low to no wind performance. This is the Rev for you if you want to fly and there's just no wind. Successful low wind flying will depend on prior Revolution flight experience.

Fabric:- Revolution kites are made from Rip-Stop Polyester fabric and have custom made Graphite spars.
Flying Lines:- The recommended length for all Revolution kites is 80 feet. Use top quality pre-stretched Spectra line to give the best response. Our kite packages all include flying line and control handles as specified by the manufacturers. When flying "stacks" stronger line will be needed. In low to zero wind, lighter lines may help to increase performance.

As with all sports equipment exposed to natural elements such as wind, sea water, dust, sand and sunlight, life expectancy varies. With heavy use in these conditions, Revolution kites can be expected to remain operationally effective for a minimum of 2 years. Of course, with moderate use and care, this time period can be lengthened considerably.

We sell all Revolution kite models as complete packages. They come with control handles, flying lines, instructional video tape or disc, carry-bag and detailed directions.
The original Revolution design is the quad line performance kite. Essentially, two independent wings are controlled with 4 flying lines connected to hand held controls. Skilled manipulation of of the handles makes the kite spin like propellor, hover, move forwards and backwards, stop in mid-air and more.
The Revolution is controlled by 2 handles connected to 4 kite flying lines. Unlike 2 line kites, which respond to "pull left to go left, pull right to go right" steering input, the Revolution requires a more precise touch. Slight rotation of the wrists result in very precise flight moves. Skilled manipulation of the control handles will make the kite stop in mid-air, reverse, spin like a propeller and perform many aerobatic manoeuvers. Flight speed can also be controlled to a high degree, both forwards and backwards.

As the folks at Revolution say, "Sport kite flying is like race car driving. You can rip around the track and feel the power! But there is a difference between a Revolution and a 2-line Delta. The Revolution has the added advantage of instant stopping . . . anytime, anywhere! When you're about to fly your $200.00 2-line kite into a tree there's little you can do. With a "Rev" you simply stop, back-up and fly away. Not only can you stop on a Dime, you can land on one too! The Revolution can perform unbelievable moves. Ask anyone who flies one!"

These kites can produce considerable pull and are not suitable for inexperienced flyers. Always learn to control the kites in plenty of open space before attempting complex trick manoeuvers. Read instructions and safety warnings in with every kite.
